Day 55 - Single Use Only

My golden retriever, Kuma, gets allergy shots every Friday, and my wife gets B12 shots every month. Guess who has to give them...

So we always gave a bunch of old syringes until the bin gets full.

Day 43 - Kuma

Our back yard is still full of snow. We shovel a path for the dogs, but of course Kuma has to take the hard way through.

Day 42 - Ice

An icicle in direct sunlight. This allowed me to underexpose the sky and get a nice rich blue color instead of having it be blown out.

Day 41 - New Watch

One of my favorite watches. The face is filled with an orange fluid and has loose watch parts floating around in it. Shot this with my 85 f1.4, at 1.4 with 40mm of extension tube so I could focus very close.

Day 36 - Sledding

We went out for a 3 hour tour on snow mobiles and ended up in a driving snow storm. It was great fun though and beautiful. Only problem was I really couldn't get the camera out. Shot this with my iPhone while we were stopped and waiting for the rest of the crew to catch up.

Day 33 - Tasty Snow

Our dogs just love the snow. Kuma loves to bury his face in the snow drifts, and I caught him just after he pulled his face out and was cleaning off his nose.

Day 32 - Coyote Ugly

While in San Antonio for PPA's annual convention, we went into Coyote Ugly to grab a beer or three. While in there, I asked if it would be okay to take a few pictures and to my surprise they let me. This is shot at iso 6400, hand held with manual focus. She is lit only by the computer screen just out of frame camera right.
