Day 62 - The Guitar Player
Actually a self portrait. No, I don't play guitar, I just pretend for photo shoots. :) Needed a model to experiment with some lighting and I was handy.

Day 57 - Self Portrait
Playing with high contrast lighting, I purposely let my stubble grow out to see what direct, harsh lighting would look like. I like the look.

Day 82 - trichotomy
Playing with long exposure and multiple flash pops. Camera set on bulb in a pitch black room. Popped the flash manually 3 times, once bare directly in front of me, once with a red gel camera right and once with a blue gel camera left. Done with a single exposure.

Day 49 - Self in Black and White
I have a west facing window in my studio, and it gets a nice soft light in the early afternoon. Figured I'd try a self portrait as a black and white.

Day 28 - Valentine's Day
We had dinner reservations at a very nice french restaurant in Acton, MA. Of course, before we went out, I had to get a portrait of us and what better way to complete my image of the day! This was lit with 3 lights, the key light being a 4 foot softbox camera right with the fill/rim camera left being a 3 foot strip. Also added a small hairlight on a boom above and slightly behind Robyn.
