Day 150 - Floral by Three
A small bunch of purple flowers (I don't know what kind they are...) along the street. We were walking the pups past and these were in full bloom.

Day 146 - Rhododendron
The Worcester Photography Center meets the last Thursday of every month and last night was our May meetup. Outside the studio we meet at, there is a row of Rhododendrons and they're in full bloom right now.

One of our neighbors, just down the road from us, has a lovely bed of Lilly of the Valley growing along the road. We love to stop and sniff when walking past...

Week 6 - Flower Abstract
Shot this Lilly petal with just the modeling lamp on one of my studio flash units, in a beauty dish. Taken with a 50mm f1.4, wide open with 31mm of extension tube. All that technical mumbo jumbo means I got REALLY close to the edge of the flower and just got the very edge in focus. I always did like abstract images like this.

Week 2 - Winter Flowers
Another outdoor photograph this week. While walking in the woods, we came across this little stalk growing out through the snow. Shot wide open at f1.4 to keep focus on the blooms in the middle.
