Day 102 - Magnolia Bud
The Magnolia tree in our yard is finally starting to bloom. On my way out the door to work this morning, I stopped at the top of our driveway to take a few pictures of some of the buds. The blooms, when fully opened, are beautiful. Shot at about f4 to carry the DOF across enough of the bud, but still keep the background nice and soft.

That's lovely! Love the dew drops on the bud as well as the muted, pastel green shroud from the shallow DOF!
