Day 192 - Geranium

I can never pass up a nice looking flower and this was no exception. This geranium (I think) had such perfect flowers.

Day 191 - Breakfast

I don't normally eat a big breakfast, I usually just have a small bowl of cereal with low fat milk. Every once in a while though, you've gotta have the big, fattening breakfast. This is the German pancake at Bickford's, with powdered sugar and lemon. This doesn't need syrup and it's still sweet and filling.

Day 190 - Happy Lunch Leftovers

I know I was taught to never play with my food, but I was done before my wife and arranged this little happy face with my sandwich leftovers. Of course, once I was done, I *HAD* to photograph it.

Day 189 - Pizza

I have to admit, I really love non-traditional pizza. This is a chicken, broccoli and roasted red pepper deep dish from Uno's...

Day 187 - Morning Flowers

More flowers just outside our front door. I took this as I was leaving for work this morning.

Day 185 - Happy Fourth

These flowers sit just outside our front door, and I think they look kinda like fireworks. Since I didn't shoot any actual fireworks, this will have to do.

Day 184 - Happy Puppy

At a Fourth of July BBQ at a friends house, (yeah, a day early...) one of the guests had this puppy.

Day 183 - Walnut Hill School of Dance

Another image that I actually shot last month, but I'm just getting to finishing up the processing. This is the group of seniors at the School of Dance at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts.

Day 182 - WAM

Playing with HDR a little bit. This is a merging of 3 different exposures of the Worcester Art Museum. One exposted for the sky, one for the building itself and another exposure to get the most out of the lit stars.

Day 181 - Burning Steel Wool

The Worcester Photography Center has its monthly meet-up on the last Thursday of every month. The topic this month was night photography, and Scott Erb of Erb Photography gave a talk on how to shoot at night. One of the members brought some steel wool and after stuff it into a kitchen wisk and lighting it on fire, he spun it around in a shower of sparks!

This is an older photo I revisited today and reprocessed to give it a little of an antique feel.

Day 179 - Shooting Union Station

Spent the evening wandering around Worcester with a friend of mine, shooting some architecture for submission to a juried exhibit at Worcester City Hall. Of course to get this I'm standing in the road, thank goodness the traffic was light...

day 178 - Swordfish for Two

Dinner tonight, grilled swordfish with baby carrots and brown rice. Yum!

The floor in the gym has a bunch of tape residue that happens to look like hearts. I like to think its just a way of saying they love working out. :)

Another reprocessing of an older image. Going through the archives I came across this shot of Amanda and I reprocessed it to take out a little color and give it a little tilt-shift effect.

Out behind the EMC building in Hopkinton, there are a bunch of wrought iron benches in the sun. I just happened to like the leading lines.

A reprocessing of an image I shot at a wedding I was working. The bride and groom has this lovely candy table and I thought the rings would look great on the rock candy.

A revisit of an older image that is part of a project I'm working on called Inked. The idea is to showcase beauty and body art together.

The Worcester Photography Center meets the last Thursday of every month and last night was our May meetup. Outside the studio we meet at, there is a row of Rhododendrons and they're in full bloom right now.

Day 144 - Its Still Raining

Egad, I feel like the sun is never going to come back out. Okay, today we had some sun, but we also had quite a bit of rain again and the leaves are still wet and covered in drops...
