Day 79 - Supermoon

Shot this last night, over the apple orchard near my house. Shot with a 70-200, racked out to 200mm, at F8 and ISO 1600.

Day 78 - Whole Lotta Ellen

This was shot through a set of glass beads that are meant for flower arranging. I placed the jar of beads on a plexiglass sheet suspended between two stools. I then placed a print I have up on the wall of the studio of Ellen on the floor below.

Day 77 - Mayan Mini

At Sweet, an amazing dessert bar in Worcester, they also make the best drinks. This is a Creamsicle, which tastes exactly like the frozen dessert.

Day 70 - King of the World!

This tree frog just loved being up on a higher perch, where he could get a look at everything around him.

Day 69 - Dark Field

Experimenting with dark field lighting, where you don't directly light the glass item, but let the light wrap around a dark background and just kiss the edges. This defines the edges of a glass item by putting bright reflections just around the edges.

Day 68 - Leominster Sunrise

I like pretty much right next door to an apple orchard (the last apple orchard in Leominster, birthplace of Johnny Appleseed, Yes, he was a real person...) and some mornings, this is the view I get leaving my house.

Day 63 - Hi there!

Don't remember what kind of turtle this is, but he acted like a movie star. He seemed to really like having his picture taken. Shot with my 85mm f1.4, wide open.

Day 62 - The Guitar Player

Actually a self portrait. No, I don't play guitar, I just pretend for photo shoots. :) Needed a model to experiment with some lighting and I was handy.

day 61 - Fireballs

I have to admit, I'm addicted to Atomic Fire Balls. I buy them by the bin at BJs and leave them at work. I have one every day as an afternoon sweet snack. :)
